Bright Cross Animal Clinic has been serving the Venice area since 1998, and has expanded twice to meet the area’s growing needs. Our doctors have a variety of interests including internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology and allergy treatment, geriatric and reproductive medicine, orthopedics, surgery, dentistry and ultrasonography. The diverse interests of our doctors allow them to consult with each other about your pet’s health and provide a higher quality of medicine at no extra cost to you. We also offer state-of-the-art dental care, ranging from routine cleaning of your pet’s teeth to digital x-rays and extensive dental work including extractions.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  
      
Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic surgery.
   
Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
     
Radiology/Ultrasound Services:  Our on-site equipment provides us with reliable results to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
   
Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with a cardiology specialist.
  
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery.
   
Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
    
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
   
Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
    
Dermatology:  We take a special interest in treating a veriety of skin conditions from minor infections to allergy treatment.

Cat Boarding:  We provide boarding as a service to our feline patients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.
